Happy February, everyone! One of the best ways to celebrate the upcoming Valentine's Day is to dress up for the fabulous night. While most part of the country is still in cold weather, LA is already a lot more like in spring. I styled a few new spring dresses for V-Day in warm LA, but they can easily be transitioned to wintery outfits by knee-length boots, fur jacket or wool coat.
It's almost the first day of Fall (isn’t it 9/22?)! I can't believe summer is over, so soon... When it’s still over 75 degree in West Hollywood, the fashioninstas are gearing up for the fashion week month. For me, good thing about fall is that I can have fun layering my favorite items with literally no sweat:P This week I am very busy with a few SS18 fashion weeks in Los Angeles. So much great inspiration on and off runway, like always, it builds up my shopping cart and wishlist...
This time I would like to share this simple fall look that almost got all my obsessions for this season - embroidery, kimono, floral and mesh sheath...It's all about the incredible details. Are these almost all the hit hashtags? The more, the merrier. We never get enough key words and hashtags but how? Another exciting season of LAFW took place in Beverly Hills and Hollywood last week. I attended the amazing events and shows as an ambassador. This is a quick recap of my event and street looks for the entire week, enjoy!!!
This is my first long knit vest - I'm so late to this vest game butI just can't stop wearing it and blogging it for the whole spring. This vest is very versatile, which can be matched with a simple black dress for a work outfit or with a T-shirt and jeans like the look on the picture for a casual street look. For colors, I recommend this light grey for knit. If it's a silk or cotton vest, nude or army green will look cool. The styling of long vest is pretty easy - the same as how we layer a long blazer. By the way, this vest was from BacianoDesign, a label born in LA.
I am actually gonna bring this look to LA Fashion Week. What you think?
Trench coat is a versatile and sophisticated staple piece for spring style. I wear it as a casual outfit or on cocktail party occasions. This look was just a simple match with a little black dress and strapped sandals for extra elegance and modernity. You can even cinch it around the waist, roll up the sleeves or pair it with skinny jeans or yoga pants - there are tons of fun ways to style a trench. For an alluring look, you might need some fabrics contrast such as a silk or velvet top inside to glam it up.
Exaggerated ruffle-sleeve blouses have been spotted on every top fashion blogger. So for this season I tried to style a ruffle-sleeve blouse to my look. This latest ruffle trend is unique, chic and feminine which adds a sophisticated update to the classic blouse. It's so hard to pick a right one. Then I came back to basics - a very white clean one with exaggerated sleeves. In this look, I paired this blouse with a leopard print mini skirt and over-knee leather booties. The Hermes birkin was borrowed from my mother :P And I added a layered black choker to finish this urban look.

This piece of cape blazer is such an architectural beauty that perfectly finished this minimal and modern look. I would never look so fly in a mininalistic look. This look is a little bit more dramatic than my typical looks but sometimes fashion is about fearlessness. And then, don't forget to add some metallic touch by gold accessories. More is more.
Hello, Fashionistas, if you check my latest posts on Instagram, you will find that I'm wearing this jacket all this season! This floral-embroidered olive jacket has become my go-to outfit for spring looks. Embroidered organza and constructions of flowers and peacocks (:P) completed the flattery utilitarian look. The sex-neutral silhouette of this military jacket strongly contrasted with the lavish textual and stylish embroideries. I just love it! It mixed well with my over-knee heeled booties and fit-and-flare dress. It's always fun to fuse these pretty details into a total look that makes your style stand out.

With its third season in Los Angeles, LA fashion week launched its influencer program which included prominent men and women from the Los Angeles community. Chris Han, a local style blogger is here to tell you about her blog, personal style, and other tips and tricks to being a blogger and influencer. Tell us about your style blog? My blog (www.chrishanxoxo.com) shares wardrobe tips and beauty guide with international audience. My goal is to help women to discover their own personal styles and feel their beauty inside and out. Attending fashion weeks, I am bringing the latest trend from runway to street to make it wearable and versatile looks and make audience look great everyday. This style blog also shares my fashion week experience with like-minded people – highly educated, urban dwelling, social media-inspired women. Who is your biggest inspiration when it comes to your personal style? My mother. From an apparel manufacturer to a designer, she is always the fashion icon, who influenced me since I was little. Her early style was toward romantic Parisian and later she fell in love with classic silhouettes. I was very conservative about what I wore. My mother encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone to go bold and to try something new. What trend are you over? Boho-chic is my favorite. Boho chic is an unconventional fashion between bohemian and urban chicness. Opening my wardrobe, I have lots of floral dresses, oversized shirts, ripped jeans and rompers. I just can’t have enough of these.

The Little Black Dress or the LBD. LBD is the most classy and trendy dress of all time.
I found this mini open-back black dress at Nordstrom anniversary sales. The open toe lace-up sandals are from Alysia, an online-only shoe shop providing handmade customized and ready-to-wear shoes. This pair of Gina sandals is comfortable and perfect for urban casual and cocktail attire. Bringing on summer heat, the details of open-back dress and open-toe heels make an easy breezy cover girl. Find my dress here. A French Label, Cop Copine invited me to a fitting session. The architectural style finishes my urban feminine looks. I tried one-piece dresses, jumpsuit and trench coats. I love the careful details and quality fabrics.

I travelled to Las Vegas for a weekend getaway. I had great experience staying at Wynn Las Vegas this time. The tropical exclusive entrance for Tower Suites guests was just amazing.
The room is finely decorated with bright, elegant and Italian arts and crafts. I enjoyed the view of strip from the floor-to-ceiling window in the room. Las Vegas is not all about gaming and nightlife. Just slow down a little bit, go tanning at the pool, enjoy sun and water in the dessert, relax and refresh in the resort. 🎶Can't work without music. I recently downloaded this cool app @nextradioapp, which plays my favorite live music and saves battery. Now I have coolest music on the go and never worry about running out of juice. 💥Win free tickets and airfare to LA NextRadio pool party and red carpet on August 7th in the Mondrian Hotel - Great music, celebs, swag bags and more!
