HOliday Style Guide | Metallic Silver Dress with Pearl Accessories | Festive Outfit that Isn't Boring
I always wear red or green for Christmas - oooops they seem to be very festive yet too safe. If you go to a fun holiday pop-up like this where the backdrops are red or green, these outfits won't work for photography. This time I decided to skip these traditional festive colors and went for a surprising palette - silver and black. I love the high contrast of these two colors. The textures of these pieces are so different. The hoodied faux fur jacket from Moussy brings right amount of warmth to the icy cold silver dress. The dress is a new collaboration of Revolve and House of Harlow 1960. I got this dress right before the holiday Yasss). It was a great holiday pick with the popping silver color. The shoes are my favorite eye-gripping Louboutin high-feels with red shoes to match my silver dress. I am so obsessed with my recent purchases of these pearl accessories. The necklace is a long costume necklace from Chanel. They never go out of style. The big pearl hair pieces are from Lovers and Friends via Revolve. These pieces actually made me feel so festive this time. I never got a chance to wear them in summer when they were super trendy - I felt like every influencer should wear these hair pieces on long wavy colors hair - again.... not particularly chic for me. I was extremely careful because these hair pieces could make me look not sophisticated. But holiday is a right time for any fun items that I wanted to try. And they actually worked for my look. Why not?
These pictures are from my collaboration with Amazon Prime Video. The pop-up is for the Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show at Grove Los Angeles. It is a fun retro musical show by Kacey Musgraves with her all-star guests. If you want to get some holiday vibes on, you can watch this new holiday show on Amazon Prime.
Hope you enjoy my pop-up photos. Have a wonderful holiday!
