This is my first long knit vest - I'm so late to this vest game butI just can't stop wearing it and blogging it for the whole spring. This vest is very versatile, which can be matched with a simple black dress for a work outfit or with a T-shirt and jeans like the look on the picture for a casual street look. For colors, I recommend this light grey for knit. If it's a silk or cotton vest, nude or army green will look cool. The styling of long vest is pretty easy - the same as how we layer a long blazer. By the way, this vest was from BacianoDesign, a label born in LA.
I am actually gonna bring this look to LA Fashion Week. What you think?
Trench coat is a versatile and sophisticated staple piece for spring style. I wear it as a casual outfit or on cocktail party occasions. This look was just a simple match with a little black dress and strapped sandals for extra elegance and modernity. You can even cinch it around the waist, roll up the sleeves or pair it with skinny jeans or yoga pants - there are tons of fun ways to style a trench. For an alluring look, you might need some fabrics contrast such as a silk or velvet top inside to glam it up.
Exaggerated ruffle-sleeve blouses have been spotted on every top fashion blogger. So for this season I tried to style a ruffle-sleeve blouse to my look. This latest ruffle trend is unique, chic and feminine which adds a sophisticated update to the classic blouse. It's so hard to pick a right one. Then I came back to basics - a very white clean one with exaggerated sleeves. In this look, I paired this blouse with a leopard print mini skirt and over-knee leather booties. The Hermes birkin was borrowed from my mother :P And I added a layered black choker to finish this urban look.
Despite the fast arrival of spring, it has been raining for a while in LA :(
Bad weather definitely can't stop me from shopping farmer's market with some style - the fresh fruits, vegetables and don't forget to bring some sweets home. Some winter pieces can effortlessly be transformed to a casual spring look. It's almost the first day of Fall (isn’t it 9/22?)! I can't believe summer is over, so soon... When it’s still over 75 degree in West Hollywood, the fashioninstas are gearing up for the fashion week month. For me, good thing about fall is that I can have fun layering my favorite items with literally no sweat:P This week I am very busy with a few SS18 fashion weeks in Los Angeles. So much great inspiration on and off runway builds up my long shopping lists...
This time I would like to share this simple fall look that almost got all my obsessions for this season - embroidery, kimono, floral and mesh sheath...It's all about the incredible details. Are these almost all the hit hashtags? The more, the merrier. We never get enough key words and hashtags but how? |
