It’s been really chilly this spring in Los Angeles. We almost experienced four seasons in the first week of March – spoiled LA people suffered from unusual rains and winds this spring. There are definitely no rules in spring fashion this year in LA, only limits to be pushed out. Seasonal fabrics, layers and how to style them, we have no rules to follow. But I really love thick wool or fur to be layered over a seasonal spring outfit when unexpected winds and rains arrive. Like last week with LAFW, I had to put a winter blazer to survive the one-minute red carpet in a chilly spring fashion night. For a not-so-warm spring, wool scarf and wool oversized blazers are perfect for the late morning sun and versatile enough for a sudden temperature drop on a mid-March day.

Hey guys, I celebrated this past Chinese New Year with friends and families in my hometown Shanghai. As you may know, Shanghai is the largest international city in China with historical western landmarks built by French and British. I love Shanghai not only for its glam metro lifestyle but also for its passion for fashion. It was the coldest season in Shanghai during Chinese New Year but local people and visitors heated the city with their holiday celebration - from amazing foods, shopping, parties and all kinds of activities.
I would like to share my outfits during this trip in Shanghai. Hope you all enjoy them. Xo. |
