Trench coat is a versatile and sophisticated staple piece for spring style. I wear it as a casual outfit or on cocktail party occasions. This look was just a simple match with a little black dress and strapped sandals for extra elegance and modernity. You can even cinch it around the waist, roll up the sleeves or pair it with skinny jeans or yoga pants - there are tons of fun ways to style a trench. For an alluring look, you might need some fabrics contrast such as a silk or velvet top inside to glam it up.
Exaggerated ruffle-sleeve blouses have been spotted on every top fashion blogger. So for this season I tried to style a ruffle-sleeve blouse to my look. This latest ruffle trend is unique, chic and feminine which adds a sophisticated update to the classic blouse. It's so hard to pick a right one. Then I came back to basics - a very white clean one with exaggerated sleeves. In this look, I paired this blouse with a leopard print mini skirt and over-knee leather booties. The Hermes birkin was borrowed from my mother :P And I added a layered black choker to finish this urban look.
Despite the fast arrival of spring, it has been raining for a while in LA :(
Bad weather definitely can't stop me from shopping farmer's market with some style - the fresh fruits, vegetables and don't forget to bring some sweets home. Some winter pieces can effortlessly be transformed to a casual spring look. It's almost the first day of Fall (isn’t it 9/22?)! I can't believe summer is over, so soon... When it’s still over 75 degree in West Hollywood, the fashioninstas are gearing up for the fashion week month. For me, good thing about fall is that I can have fun layering my favorite items with literally no sweat:P This week I am very busy with a few SS18 fashion weeks in Los Angeles. So much great inspiration on and off runway builds up my long shopping lists...
This time I would like to share this simple fall look that almost got all my obsessions for this season - embroidery, kimono, floral and mesh sheath...It's all about the incredible details. Are these almost all the hit hashtags? The more, the merrier. We never get enough key words and hashtags but how? This piece of cape blazer is such an architectural beauty that perfectly finished this minimal and modern look. I would never look so fly in a mininalistic look. This look is a little bit more dramatic than my typical looks but sometimes fashion is about fearlessness. And then, don't forget to add some metallic touch by gold accessories. More is more.
Hello, Fashionistas, if you check my latest posts on Instagram, you will find that I'm wearing this jacket all this season! This floral-embroidered olive jacket has become my go-to outfit for spring looks. Embroidered organza and constructions of flowers and peacocks (:P) completed the flattery utilitarian look. The sex-neutral silhouette of this military jacket strongly contrasted with the lavish textual and stylish embroideries. I just love it! It mixed well with my over-knee heeled booties and fit-and-flare dress. It's always fun to fuse these pretty details into a total look that makes your style stand out.
repost from Blog - LA Fashion Week (lafw.net)
With its third season in Los Angeles, LA fashion week launched its influencer program which included prominent men and women from the Los Angeles community. Chris Han, a local style blogger is here to tell you about her blog, personal style, and other tips and tricks to being a blogger and influencer. Tell us about your style blog? My blog (www.chrishanxoxo.com) shares wardrobe tips and beauty guide with international audience. My goal is to help women to discover their own personal styles and feel their beauty inside and out. Attending fashion weeks, I am bringing the latest trend from runway to street to make it wearable and versatile looks and make audience look great everyday. This style blog also shares my fashion week experience with like-minded people – highly educated, urban dwelling, social media-inspired women. Who is your biggest inspiration when it comes to your personal style? My mother. From an apparel manufacturer to a designer, she is always the fashion icon, who influenced me since I was little. Her early style was toward romantic Parisian and later she fell in love with classic silhouettes. I was very conservative about what I wore. My mother encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone to go bold and to try something new. What trend are you over? Boho-chic is my favorite. Boho chic is an unconventional fashion between bohemian and urban chicness. Opening my wardrobe, I have lots of floral dresses, oversized shirts, ripped jeans and rompers. I just can’t have enough of these. I never thought about bringing pearl necklace to my looks until I came across this beautiful pearl piece at Modern Design Inc. This long pearl necklace is designed and handcrafted by skilled artisans. I ended up wearing it almost for every recent looks - this is so fashionable that I can effortless mix and match it to my casual Friday looks and on my little dresses for special occasions. The colorful pearls well balance with each other. The silver rings on the chain add some fun to the elegant freshwater pearls. When I wear this gorgeous piece of jewelry, with all the excellent details and unique design, I can feel the heart and sweat of the artist behind it. I truly enjoy the experience of getting the right jewelry for me at Modern Design.

When you have more than three color touchups a year, you probably have to worry about the fuzzy tangled hair, like me. We all feel so great when we walk out of the salon with freshly colored vibrant. But this is the beginning of a battle against your dry, tangled, fuzzy hair and split ends.
This is an exciting award season, celebrities, runway, fashion week, red carpet, and more. I got so much inspiration from these well-dressed celebrities. The timeless black high split ball gowns are never wrong. Check out Lily, Taylor and Eva's black gown looks on the red carpet in recent events, overwhelmingly gorgeous, feminine and classy. Right?
Can't believe that LA Fashion Week is less than two weeks away, I am trying different styles for my fashion week looks. And finally I narrow the list down to a few dresses and gowns. Here is a low-back lace ball gown similar to what Lily wore. The elastic lace fabrics make the dress fit like a glove. With so much details on the dress, I really don't need a lot of accessories to make it look better.
