Some items are never out of trend and will stay on top of wardrobe every season. Leather jacket is one of them. They are incredibly versatile and they always add right amount of sophistication to a simple outfit. Searching for a perfect piece of leather jacket is like a process of finding a soulmate or part of a modern woman's lifestyle. I have been blogging a lot about my jackets this season but I am not settled yet.
A nice piece of real leather jacket is a fashion investment that you would never regret while some brands are making chic faux leather jackets that everyone can afford. I am sharing a few of my all-time favorite real or faux leather jackets and my fresh takes.
This black leather jacket is from Jing Limited - an LA-based fashion brand that makes premium statement pieces for optimistic women. I love the quilted shoulder details and the shimmering texture. I styled it in two different ways - a classic biker look with rock-n-roll white shirt and jeans and an interesting layered look on a glittery bluch mini dress. It was so fun to wear something highly contrasted in both material and color.
This eclipse graffiti-inspired jacket is such a fun piece. This one is a faux leather jacket from Zara - the destination of afforable runway pieces. I love the twist of classic looks. I paired it with a H:OURS one-shoulder velvet bodysuit and a Boohoo chiffon boyfriend pants. Again, it can be very interesting to wear a classic leather jacket if you pair it with a few on-trend pieces to make your fashion statement. Leather jacket doesn't have to be on T-shirt and jeans.
Faux suede jacket has been trendy for at least three years (no longer?). I am not a firm believer of all-black outfit or black-on-black. I just feel like a colored jacket makes my life much easier. I would love to go a little bit more adventurous with this jacket (from Rock Etiquette) either with a pair of suede legging, distressed jeans, maxi pleated skirt, just name a few. Suede is something that helps you differentiates the style from others.
