It’s like a winter wonderland. I would never image that there could be such a fascinating place in New Mexico. I was inspired by some travel influencers on Instagram who posted stunning landscape photos and we drove 15 hours from LA to southern New Mexico last week. This view totally blew me. This park is called White Sands National Monument. There are endless white sand dunes, so rare for people who live on the west coast. When I posted these editorial photos on my Instagram, everyone asked where is this place!? Is it snow already? The contrast of the white sands and the clear blue sky makes it so unusual. I brought a few colorful winter outfits to shoot. The photos turned out like covers of fashion magazine. I am still amazed by vastness and freshness of this place. The sand dunes not only looked like snow, they felt like snow - cold, clean and soft. There were people who actually shedding on the slopes. If you are looking for a long weekend getaway from Southern California, White Sands is definitely a place that you won’t miss. This look was inspired a recent Vogue editorial. Orange dress under vegan fur coat looked so uniquely fashionable. It definitely fits the winter travel theme. Sweater is always a nice option. The gold skirt makes it a little edgy and playful. The navy boots matches the details on the sweater and brings an interesting contrast to the gold skirt. Never forget to smile :) I layered a leather jacket on a high-split maxi chiffon dress. The vibrant color pops in the photo. The jacket adds a little rock-n-roll twist to the total look.
